The best sandal !
Where do I start? Hard to find a sandal for FIL with diabetes. His feet are wrapped and his toe is injured. These were perfect! Even the nurse likes them. Keeps him sturdy in his feet too!! 100% great!

Vero sandals
Last summer, I severely sprained my ankle playing racquetball. I ended up in a bandage and aircast brace and on crutches for several weeks. Because of this, I was unable to wear any of my regular shoes on my injured foot. I came across these sandals in a local store and I found that with the adjustable straps, I could wear them on my foot with the bandage and brace. I ended up buying the tan ones as they went well with the hiker I was wearing that day. I found that it also went with a brown dress shoe and a light brown topsider that I had. The sandal was comfortable, all things considered, and provided some protection to my injured foot, especially if I had to put it on the ground. The adjustable straps held the sandal securely on my foot while I was crutching. I also liked seeing my injured foot dressed up in a shoe instead of just being bare. I went back a couple days later and picked up the black ones to wear with my black dress shoe and a black athletic shoe. I ended up wearing these daily to work, and whenever I went out someplace while my ankle healed up. I even wore the tan one to a a wedding and reception with the brown dress shoe on my good foot. It was surprising how many people noticed and made comments on them, particularly ladies. My wife constantly commented that she thought it looked nice on my injured foot! Quite a few people complemented me for how I was dealing with the injury and not letting it slow me down. This was good as I ended up being on crutches and unable to wear anything else on it for over a month.
