Waterproof
Wished shoes with deep treads would also be available without waterproofing. Waterproof shoes are to hot to wear in the summer and I require the deep tread in shoes.

Actually waterproof !
My boyfriend needed new shoes for work that are durable and waterproof since he is always walking/jogging in all weather conditions (rain/snow). We found these when browsing the store. He bought them and put them to the test. They are as they say waterproof. He worked while it was down pouring and stepped in streams of runoff water and his feet stayed completely dry. No leaks or anything. He also likes how they cover some of his ankle to keep his feet dry from walking in tall grass as well. Overall definitely worth the cost if you get these.

These Boots are a great value!
Full disclosure, I have yet to break these boots in completely. They fit very true to size, and are extremely wide for those of us that have a very wide foot. That is a hard thing to find in a shoe these days, especially when you have a 14 and 1/2 sized foot. My one complaint is that they are quite stiff even after several dozen outings. And they are rather large, and the best way that I can think to describe them as clunky. They're not exactly overly heavy, but they're just bulky. With those negatives out of the way, they are wonderfully waterproof, they are roomy and comfortable for a person with a very large and wide foot, they are stylish looking, and they manage to hold up well under rough wear and tear of a large person. I would recommend these to anyone else who has an extremely wide and long foot, and is looking for a nice waterproof boot to get through a winter. I am hoping that they will loosen up a bit once they are fully broken in, but their stiff nature is not enough to keep me away. I only wish that I had had this brand available in the past, because they are a quality Boot at a wonderful price.
