    I received the shoes ahead of schedule. The ankle shoes are just what I needed. Here in the Crosby, TX area the grass is always wet with dew due to high humidity. The dew does not evaporate until around 11 AM; in warmer weather. I need to start yard work early. The shoes are a must have item. This past February we experienced subfreezing temperatures (14-20 deg F.), constant winds of 13 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. We were without power for 37 hours and 17 minutes. Some people in Texas were without power for a month. I have lived in Harris County since 1949. We are only 50 miles from Galveston Island. Never have I experienced the high winds and subfreezing temperatures at the same time. Those conditions would be normal further North in the Texas plains. The Modern Grand Solar Minimum began on June 8, 2020. Planet Earth will be cooling for the next 30 years. Be prepared.

    I wear a size 11H (4E) and ordered 11 XX WIDE. The inside of the boot says they are 5E, but they barely make a 4E. With a thinner pair of socks they are very comfortable, but with beefier socks like Gold Toes, they are a bit snug, but not uncomfortable enough to send them back. My left foot is bigger than my right foot, but the right boot is tighter than the left. Go figure.

    Great traction in the snow. Easy on and off. Extra wide size was perfect. Downside: this shoe would be outstanding if it had an insert. The bottom of the shoe gets really cold. There's absolutely no shock absorption. I put some inserts from some old dress shoes and now they are great, but for the price I expected more.

    I wear a 9.5 3E, and these were a perfect fit. I do not expect any break in period will be needed. I was surprised to see that the puny little zipper actually does make the difference between slipping my foot in and out easily or not at all. I wont really know what these shoes have got until I go through a New England winter with them (which will be soon), but I have a good feeling about them. This is my third pair of Propet shoes, and the others have been comfortable and durable. I expect the same from these.
